I've been made NEWWWWWWWWWW!

NO, not in the Biblical sense... well, yes in that sense as I am made new whenever I ask forgiveness... BUT today, I stepped out and had a day to myself.  Let me stop right here and give a GIGANTIC "Thank You!" To my big sister for watching all of the kiddos!  I only went two places... Chick Fil A, because God Bless them, they give me free LARGE water!  And then from there, I went to Carytown In Style Salon, and had a wonderful time catching up with my stylist, getting my hair cut and colored and getting my brows waxed!  WooHoo!  I'm a new woman.  It's been forever since I had any pampering done!  I think, tomorrow, I may even step out and have a manicure and pedicure (gift from my husband from Christmas that I've not used yet).  And, if I were able to pull it off (maybe next week)... I've been thinking about heading back to the Red Door Spa and getting another facial.  Those make me feel SO good!  Sometimes, it's so fun to be a woman!  Granted, sometime next week, I'll probably be shouting about the curses put upon us because of Old Eve and her inability to obey... but for now, I'm singing praises about being a woman!  I can't wait for Mr. Perfect to get home and see his new wife. *insert big cheesy grin here*  I think my sister and I are going to go ahead and decork my vintage bottle of wine (from my 5 year anniversary, that has never been touched) and have us a little drink with some crackers and cheese.  Yum!  We were also thinking of maybe (if Mr. Perfect gives the OK or the grandparents feel like babysitting once the kids are asleep so Mr. Perfect can join us) going to CousCous for some delicious tapas.  My sister and I are working on a new venture... not a money making venture, but more of a mission, similar to Pay It Forward.  Soon, I'll have our blog up and you can read all about what we are doing.  It's called Drop the Penny Ministries.  So, we thought if we went out tonight we could work on it, and come up on our first blog post together.  Bless her heart, she thought I was going to create a blog for it, and it just me my blog... and I said, NO it's your idea, the blog will be by US, not ME!  I just happen to be the one who loves to write, so I'll probably do the majority of the posts.

Anyway, new hair, new brows, new woman, I need a night out.  I can hardly wait.  More than likely, we'll all get tired while putting the little ones down for bed, and then we won't go, but at least we are thinking about it! 

Oh and last but not least... have I ever told you how wonderful my children are?  Well, they are!  Today, those little precious angels... they let mom SLEEP IN!  That's right.  8am was the first I heard one of them (the early bird is the little prince, little man doesn't usually sleep late for anything), about 10 minutes later, I heard from Little Princess, talking to her brother in the sweetest way, they were getting along great.  8:37 I hear, "DADDY COME WIPE ME, I POOPED!"  So, I pushed Mr. Perfect out of bed and said... "Hey they let you sleep until 8:30, you should be happy!"  Then I rolled over and happily lazed in bed whilst listening to the wee ones with their father, playing and chatting upstairs.  I popped my head up and took a peak in the littlest princess' sleeping quarters and she was snoozing away.  I lay in my bed until 9:30 when she beckoned for some breakfast, but what a lovely day it has been!  I love my babies!
