HE IS RISEN!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
Let me say, I'm one tired mommy. I should be in bed. The kids actually slept until nearly 8am this morning. (YAHOO!) However, we stayed up entirely too late last night. I'm so thankful Mr. Perfect has the day off tomorrow. We are planning to straighten the house (we've kind of let it go recently... oopsy), and possibly go look at a few houses. I know I know, why look if no one is looking at our house... but honestly, why not look? Specifically, there is one house that has been on the market for quite some time, and well we've looked at it, and it isn't our favorite house, but it's in a great neighborhood for the children. And the price? Well, it's TOO good to just forget about. So, we should look at it one more time and really think about it. I already know that they will take a first right. The price is basically stealing a house in this neighborhood, and there is SO much to offer in the neighborhood. My best friend lives in the neighborhood. There are pools and playgrounds, exercise rooms, club house, etc. So, anyway, we might go look at it tomorrow. We'll see.
Tomorrow night, we are hosting bible study at our house. Messy Spirituality is the book we are reading. It's really quite interesting. I missed the first 3 weeks. However, I have the book so I can read it on my own time. No one ever responded about dinner tomorrow night, so I'm guessing we will not be having dinner for the group. BUT, I do hope to make some homemade peanut butter cookies.
Let me share my EASY recipe!
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
mix, drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, bake in a preheated oven (350) until edges of cookies are slightly brown. Before you bake, you can take a fork and press down the cookies and then sprinkle a little granulated sugar on them... pretty. SO, how's that for easy??? My kids and I love them!
Well, I think I'm going to drag Mr. Perfect to bed. He's on a hunt for some new music (we've got quite a few iTunes gift cards hanging around). I sincerely hope you all had a wonderful Easter. How blessed are we that He gave His Son to save us? WOW, that's just amazing, and I know, I for one am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not deserving.
