Happy FIRST Mother's Day!

This is a blog, specially dedicated to all of my beautiful friends who are celebrating their First Mother's Day with their baby(ies) on the outside!

My very best friend: Melinda, Happy Mother's Day! I hope the twins will be super wonderful all day Sunday. I hope they provide you with many laughs, smiles, coos, and maybe even a MAMA sound!

The newest new mom in my circle of friends: Pam, Happy Mother's Day! I hope your baby boy brings you nothing but complete joy on your special day! Enjoy every moment, he won't be this little ever again!

One of my dearest friends: Karen, Happy Mother's Day! I hope little miss sunshine brings you happiness all day long. I hope you and Brian will celebrate this very special day in a most memorable way. I hope that you will be filled with peace and joy!

The youngest new mom and one of my dearest friends: Kelly, Happy Mother's Day! I hope Riley brings you a day filled with warmth and love. I hope you and Ryan will enjoy this day to the fullest. You've been so blessed with such an amazing son (my future son-in-law). I want nothing more than the most fabulous mother's day EVER!

And to those expecting mommies: Lindsey, Christine, April, enjoy this mother's day, it's the ONLY mother's day that you are able to celebrate as a MOM but with no children climbing on you or demanding something from you. This is the most peaceful Mother's day you will get for at least the next 18 years if not longer! Make sure your husband's realize what a special day this is for you, and have them pamper you on this day, it's hard work growing a baby and you should be rewarded for it! (Well, we all know the real reward comes on the day of birth!)

And to all mommies everywhere: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Thank you for taking on the responsibility of raising one or more of God's children. Give your children extra hugs on Mother's Day. They are a precious gift, and they are what makes Mother's Day Special.

Dearest Susan, May Sunday be one of the most wonderful days of your life. May you embrace Artem with all of you. May you feel God's Grace, Love and Mercy upon you, for all that you have gone through and for all that you will go through now. God is SO amazing. Enjoy your first Mother's Day with your new baby boy. The baby you've waited 7 years for, the baby that grew in your heart, the baby that God intended as your own. Happy First Mother's Day with many more to follow.

We are so blessed to be mothers! What an honor it is to be recognized for being a mother.

And, for all of the women out there who want to be a mommy: Don't ever give up on your dream of being a mommy. And don't rule out the possibilities. You may be on a road that you never intended, on a road that you don't want to be on, but stay true to yourself, focus on God and His will for your life, and you WILL be blessed! You may be the only mommy some child ever knows, or you may one day be blessed with three beautiful children of your own, or you may be chosen to be the parent of a baby who's mother is unable to care for him or her. We don't know the path that God has chosen for us, we just need to blindly follow, and know that He knows best and He will provide for all of our needs, and He will never leave us. Love to each of you, and peace to those who struggle on mother's day, you are loved.
