The Sickies!

Yup, little miss Mia has the sickies! Poor little angel. She has had a fever since last night. This morning it was 102. I plopped all the kids in the car and we drove to the doctor. We saw Dr. Andrako... he graduated with my father from High School... and I think he's just great. He's so sweet and yet is very to the point. Mia made sure that the nurse and Dr. A knew she was NOT happy with them handling her. As soon as I'd pick her up, she'd quit the fussing.

As high as her fever is, she is still all smiles. Her nights are not so great. She's up around 4 am all distressed. But, her day time naps are much better! She's even napping in her crib rather than the travel lite bassinet next to my bed.

She had to have blood drawn while at the doctor today. I couldn't sit through that with her. I asked if the nurse would sit with her, so I could rescue her when it was done. She screamed bloody murder and it was crushing me to hear it. Then, they came out and handed her to me and she was all smiles for me. She then fell promptly to sleep in my arms.

Tonight, she is still running a fever, even after her tylenol and an excellent nap. But, as I type this, she is sitting in her Daddy's lap, talking up a storm. Maegan and Wils are also cuddled on the sofa with Daddy. NOW, where is the camera when you need it? GRRR it's been missing for about 2 weeks now!!! Frustration!!!

I'll blog more later. Wils pooped... and I guess I should tend to that! (ick)
