No cookies tonight...

4 of us showed for bible study tonight. I got a phone call around 5pm. It was my realtor. She informed us that she'd just received a call and someone is coming to view our house tomorrow at 3:30! We haven't had anyone look at it in 3 weeks! (well, there abouts) We looked at a house today and are contemplating putting a contract on it in the coming days. So, anyway, we ordered pizza for dinner and I did not make cookies. I was not about to dirty up my kitchen before tomorrow! No thanks! AND, guess what!?! Tomorrow is RECYCLE day... so all of the recycle articles in the utility room will be GONE GONE GONE for the showing! Yahoo!!! Mr. Perfect has a meeting at work tomorrow morning, so he'll be out of here bright and early. He's coming home at lunch time to help do last minute straightening. *whew* My mom is on Spring Break this week. I'll be taking the kids to her when Mr. Perfect gets home at lunchtime. Then I can come back and make sure the carpets are vacuumed, the potties are sparkling and there are no clothes out of place!

I really don't recommend selling a home with 3 children under the age of 5! One is always crying, one is always pulling everything out, and one is always following at my heels. I love my babies with all of my being, but I hate selling a house with them around. I hate it because I feel like I'm constantly on their little butts about keeping this place clean, and really at 4, 1.5 and 3 months, they really don't get it.

It's late, and I should be asleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. I hope I can relax during the showing. I get very nervous and my stomach gets all sick thinking of people picking apart the things that are wrong with my house.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. Anthony is still working on the contact page but I was so anxious I told him to go ahead and go live with it. What do you think of the price point?
Well, at least your house will get a good once over. I put you guys down for next Monday for dinner.

Lisa, I give you kudos for trying to sell your house with 3 kids at home. It's a little crazy, isn't it?! I felt like I had 3 kids (or more) at home when trying to keep the house clean, etc., with 2 kids, a DOG and 3 cats. I don't ever want to do that again! Good luck . . . I wish you well!!! I hope it goes well so you can get your perfect home finally!
