My best friend went to see her OB today! Her bp was 148/90, which is higher than Monday's (130/90). Doc said he was not worried about the top number, only the bottom one. SO, she is still on bed rest. The babies are doing just fine, moving all around and cozy as can be. He did tell her that he thinks in the next 2 weeks she could be holding her babies!
OMG!!!!!! I'm so excited. I cried when she told me. (pregnancy hormones, I cry all the time now) We've waited so long for her to have a baby. We always said, as kids, that we would have children together. Then I had the Princess followed by the little man, and she was having no luck. Then we found out in January that her luck had changed and she was having TWINS! I said ot her, that she was on her own, but I was excited for her. Then, Low and Behold, on Easter Sunday, we found out I, too, was expecting. (Super Shocking, since Little man was not even 9 months old) So, her having these babies is a dream come true.
They should be close to 5 lbs if not MORE than 5 lbs if delivered in the next 2 weeks. Hopefully, their time in the hospital will be short and sweet. I can not wait to hold them and tell them how much I love them.
