Today, we are home. Me, and all three little ones. The oldest princess has told me she'd like to go out today. I asked where, she said, "Gammy's house." I said, "No, Gammy needs a break." Then she said, "Well, we can go to the park." "No, it's too cold and you and Wils have runny noses." SO, then she said, "Well, we can just go outside then." I didn't have an answer, but I think I do have an answer now. ABSOLUTELY! After lunch, once I get Wils down for his nap, I think we will grab the monitor, put Mia down for a nap as well, and Maegan and I will go play in the backyard. We can't get anyone else sick, and if we get cold, we can run back in the house at anytime, AND we can be with in ear shot of sleeping babies, should they need us.
So, right now, my house is very quiet. I am downstairs with Mia. Maegan and Wils went back upstairs. I called up to them, "Are you OK?" My oldest princess replies with, "Yes, Mommy, we are just reading our books that Santa brought us for Christmas." With that, the little Prince yells down the stairs in his own language, something that I was unable to understand, but I'm sure it was pretty much what his big sister said. It's so nice to hear them getting along. Mia is resting in her swing. Mommy got some computer time! WOOT!
Maegan has just reported that brother is making a mess with the books (pulling them off the shelf)... no worries, we will just pick them up before nap time and be done with it! Maegan has taken to keeping her room clean. She gets very upset when things are out of place. This is VERY new, but I PRAY it keeps up! It's nice going up to their room and seeing it so clean!
We've been looking at a new house. We have pretty much fallen in love with it... and now it looks like it might not happen for us. We are trying to keep our chin up... we know HE knows where He wants us to be and we want His will for our family, so we are trying not to be discouraged. Matt was saying last night... "Lisa, the laundry in that house is directly across from the bathroom! I can see it now, I put the kids in the tub and throw the clothes right into the wash!" Oh yes, I can see this too, and I like it. I have a feeling, if we got that house, our whole night routine would change. We'd finish dinner. Clean up from dinner, everyone would go upstairs together. Matt would do bath time, I would do laundry. We'd work together getting jammies on. We'd read books in the "big bed", then brush teeth and potty time on the way to their bedrooms. We'd go our separate ways putting the little ones to bed, saying prayers and turning lights out. Then, instead of heading back downstairs, I have a feeling, we'd go to our room, watch tv (sitting area in our room), and then head to bed when we felt like it. Of course, some nights, I'm sure we'd go back downstairs, if friends were coming over, or if one of us wanted to watching something different than the other. I'd personally like to get an elliptical trainer for the bedroom, so I could do a workout in the morning and one at night, while watching whatever was on the tv. Oh well... no reason to think too much on it. At least not until we know if it is going to workout or not. They want $7500 as "good faith $$" and well... that's just not going to happen. We have ONE income, and THREE children, and coming up with a spare $7500 is just not something we have lying about all the time. 2 years ago, YES, this year, NO. We are supposed to hear if they will waive this amount, at some point today. We have yet to hear anything. We've been approved for the house by our mortgage lender and they are wanting to get this house sold (they the builders), because they are moving on to another neighborhood... but they are the ones holding up the sale. Of course, our house has to sell as well... and if it doesn't then we can't have that house anyway... SO, it's all up to HIM and if it is HIS will for us. We'll just sit back and see what happens.
Now all three of the babies are in here with Mommy! :) I love my kids! I'm going to go make them some yummy lunch and then Mr. Wils is going to help me CLEAN his room and then go down for his nap! Yahoo!!! And Miss Maegs is going out to play on her swingset!

Sounds like a perfect day. Good luck on the house. Keep us posted!!
Love your storytelling, Lisa. You are a great writer.
I want to see a recent pic of Mia!
Good luck with the house. It will happen when it's suppose to. I hope it will, though, because I know how long you've been wanting this.
