How did I get SO blessed

OK, if my digi cam batteries were working at the moment, I'd be snapping pictures and uploading them! My little man is in his yellow polo and his Kelly's Kids plaid shortall. He's dancing in the middle of the room. He's SO beautiful. I know he's a boy, but it's OK, boys can be beautiful... and HE IS! I'm a proud mommy. When he flashes me that toothy grin, I melt.

I must be the luckiest mother in the world, because not only is HE beautiful... his SISTER is amazingly beautiful as well. OF course, they are my children, so I'm allowed to think this about my babies.

I just look at these two precious individuals and wonder, HOW did I get SO blessed? ME? What did I do to deserve such beautiful and precious children? They are beautiful on the inside as well. Maegan has such a compassionate heart. She always looks out for the people who don't seem to be having fun. She will go to them and comfort them and stay with them until they smile again. She loves giving hugs and kisses. Wils seems to be a cuddly one as well. They are just so amazing to me. I hate watching them get older and more independent, but I LOVE watching them becoming individuals. I love seeing what they are becoming. What blessings they are.

Do you remember that commercial for Kibbles and Bits? Where the big bull dog is walking around saying "Lucky dog, lucky dog, I'm a lucky dog?" Well, that's what is running through my head now... "Lucky mom, lucky mom, I'm a lucky mom!"
