Two Posts in ONE

Hey there all my 2 readers! Thank you for your support, ladies!

First subject... Disney World! We are headed there in late April, early May. Little miss will be just over 3 1/2 when we go. Little brother will be 2 months shy of his first birthday. We are going for Mr. Perfect's 29th birthday. I'm quite excited, actually. Wils will never remember it, but that is fine with me! We'll just go back in a few years when he is old enough TO remember! I'm looking forward to our very first family vacation. . . A L O N E! We aren't going with anyone else. Just the four of us, alone on a trip. Should be plenty to blog about when we return! haha!

The other subject for this particular post. Mr. Perfect has been offered a part time job. Yes, he works a full time job. He is a graphic designer for a local non profit organization. Our church has been using him for about a year now doing graphics and web work. He has been doing this work free of charge, but occassionally they send us a little "love offering" just to show their appreciation. Last week they asked if he'd be interested in possibly coming on staff part time. So, he'd still be doing all of his full time job, just with the addition of working for the church a few hours a week (which he already does, just unpaid).

We really could use this extra money, because of purchasing the new car, putting Little Miss in a more expensive school, keeping her in ballet, beginning her in gymnastics and swimming lessons, and soon we will be getting Little man in his own activities. Not to mention, fall soccer coming up! However, the taking the job will take away his every other Friday off. :( I'm not looking forward to that. I love having him home an extra day every other week. You have to know that I am totally in love with Mr. Perfect, so when he's home that extra day, I just feel all happy and giddy. I understand that it would be selfish of me to say, NO you can't be gone that day. So, I guess I'm going to suck it up. Be a big girl. And tell him, go for it baby! Good Job!

It will be a big change for us, but at the same time, it will really alleviate some of the pressure of making ends meet each month. As long as they are understanding on times when I will need him home (ie: when I have to be room mother at Little Miss's school) then I'm all good! BUT, Little Miss will be at the preschool in our church next year, so she will get to ride with Perfect Daddy on Fridays, which will TOTALLY make her happy! And I think we will get a little tuition discount, which will be lovely!

All in all, I guess it is good news.
